Analysis and Prospect of the Pharmaceutical Industry Development Trend in China

Kong Fei, Cao Yuan, Xu Ming, Li Haiyan, Qiao Jie

Strategic Study of CAE 2023, Volume 25, Issue 5,   Pages 1-10 doi: 10.15302/J-SSCAE-2023.05.003

Abstract:

The pharmaceutical industry is vital for safeguarding people’s lives and health. This study is based on a macro perspective and provides a comprehensive and in-depth comparison regarding the development trends of the pharmaceutical industry in China and abroad. It is pointed out that the global market size and strategic position of the pharmaceutical industry in various countries are constantly improving. Meanwhile, the development prospects of China’s pharmaceutical industry are broad, and the potential market space is large. On this basis, we further review and explore the driving factors behind the stable and rapid development of China’s pharmaceutical industry in recent years, which include demographic changes, global economic instability, and continuous investment from innovative entities such as governments and enterprises. Moreover, from the perspective of patients, we propose the challenges faced by the pharmaceutical industry in five aspects: precision, safety, timeliness, affordability, and policy guarantee. Furthermore, targeted policy recommendations are proposed to focus on building and maintaining a refined large-scale population cohort and data platform, sorting out China’s cutting-edge technology fields, promoting the industrialization of pharmaceutical research and development, improving multi-level medical security channels, and  enhance the full chain of policy protection and the implementation efficiency, thus to provide a reference for subsequent investment, policy formulation, and development decisions for China’s pharmaceutical industry.

Focused crawling strategies based on ontologies and simulated annealing methods for rainstorm disaster domain knowledge Research Article

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2022, Volume 23, Issue 8,   Pages 1189-1204 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2100360

Abstract: At present, is a crucial method for obtaining effective domain knowledge from massive heterogeneous networks. For most current focused crawling technologies, there are some difficulties in obtaining high-quality crawling results. The main difficulties are the establishment of topic benchmark models, the assessment of topic relevance of hyperlinks, and the design of crawling strategies. In this paper, we use domain to build a topic benchmark model for a specific topic, and propose a novel multiple-filtering strategy based on local and global (MFSLG). A comprehensive method (CPEM) based on the web text and link structure is introduced to improve the computation precision of topic relevance for unvisited hyperlinks, and a (SA) method is used to avoid the falling into local optima of the search. By incorporating SA into the with MFSLG and CPEM for the first time, two novel strategies based on and SA (FCOSA), including FCOSA with only global (FCOSA_G) and FCOSA with both local and global (FCOSA_LG), are proposed to obtain topic-relevant webpages about s from the network. Experimental results show that the proposed crawlers outperform the other focused crawling strategies on different performance metric indices.

A new focused crawler using an improved tabu search algorithm incorporating ontology and host information Research Article

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2023, Volume 24, Issue 6,   Pages 859-875 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.2200315

Abstract: To solve the problems of incomplete topic description and repetitive crawling of visited hyperlinks in traditional focused crawling methods, in this paper, we propose a novel using an improved with domain and (FCITS_OH), where a domain is constructed by formal concept analysis to describe topics at the semantic and knowledge levels. To avoid crawling visited hyperlinks and expand the search range, we present an improved tabu search (ITS) algorithm and the strategy of memory. In addition, a comprehensive method based on Web text and link structure is designed to improve the assessment of topic relevance for unvisited hyperlinks. Experimental results on both tourism and rainstorm disaster domains show that the proposed s overmatch the traditional s for different performance metrics.

Frontiers of Information Technology & Electronic Engineering 2016, Volume 17, Issue 6,   Pages 527-542 doi: 10.1631/FITEE.1500292

Abstract: The layout design of satellite modules is considered to be NP-hard. It is not only a complex coupled system design problem but also a special multi-objective optimization problem. The greatest challenge in solving this problem is that the function to be optimized is characterized by a multitude of local minima separated by high-energy barriers. The Wang-Landau (WL) sampling method, which is an improved Monte Carlo method, has been successfully applied to solve many optimization problems. In this paper we use the WL sampling method to optimize the layout of a satellite module. To accelerate the search for a global optimal layout, local search (LS) based on the gradient method is executed once the Monte-Carlo sweep produces a new layout. By combining the WL sampling algorithm, the LS method, and heuristic layout update strategies, a hybrid method called WL-LS is proposed to obtain a final layout scheme. Furthermore, to improve significantly the efficiency of the algorithm, we propose an accurate and fast computational method for the overlapping depth between two objects (such as two rectangular objects, two circular objects, or a rectangular object and a circular object) embedding each other. The rectangular objects are placed orthogonally. We test two instances using first 51 and then 53 objects. For both instances, the proposed WL-LS algorithm outperforms methods in the literature. Numerical results show that the WL-LS algorithm is an effective method for layout optimization of satellite modules.
